The project involved the concept design for the modernisation of an airport restaurant, including both interior and exterior areas, at Braunschweig–Wolfsburg Airport. The aim was to develop a contemporary, functional, and welcoming hospitality environment that enhances the passenger experience while meeting the operational needs of both the airport and the restaurant operator.
A key focus of the project was the comprehensive collection and alignment of requirements from both the airport side and the restaurant tenant, ensuring that operational, technical, and commercial expectations were fully integrated into the design concept. Based on these inputs, we developed detailed site plans and floor plans forming the foundation for the redesign.
To support the design process and stakeholder alignment, we created 3D visualisations of both the interior spaces and the outdoor terrace area, enabling a clear and realistic representation of the future restaurant environment. In addition, we actively supported communication between the airport operator and the restaurant tenant, helping to streamline coordination and facilitate aligned decision-making throughout the project.
