On April 22, 2026, the new Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport officially opened right on schedule—marking a truly exceptional milestone.
This project stands out not only as a remarkable achievement in architecture, but also as a major economic contribution to the region. After all, how often do we see an entirely new terminal planned and built from scratch?
It has been a special honor for us to support our anchor client, Frankfurt Airport, throughout this important project over many years. Witnessing the first airline—China Southern—land in the early morning hours on opening day was a true goosebump moment.
We are both proud and grateful to maintain a framework agreement with our valued client Fraport, allowing us to provide flexible and ongoing consulting support whenever needed. In this context, we have contributed to feasibility studies for Terminal 2 and the new Pier G, as well as the upgrade of Pier G.
As many are aware, with the opening of Terminal 3, several airlines are relocating from Terminal 2, paving the way for its renovation and modernization. In addition, we have been involved in the development of six new shop units—covering all HOAI phases from analysis and needs assessment to approval and implementation—ensuring that the design aligns seamlessly with both the concessionaires and the overall architectural vision.
