Pedestrian Bridge | Amsterdam

Design competition for new Pedestrian Bridge will be located on Amstel 51 in the front of the Hermitage Amsterdam Museum on the east bank of the Amstel river.
The asymmetrical, diamond-shaped single-span grid shell structure spans 90m across the canal at a static height of 3m for boats to pass underneath. The northern side of the bridge forms a lip creating a wind sheltered space for people to sit and rest enjoying views towards the city and the museum.
